LINGERIE DESIGN

sunday-morning-collection-header.png

designer: elizabeth vandermey

photographer: natalie brennan

model: catrina chen

Created as my thesis project for my Bachelor of Design at Ryerson University, this collection was inspired by the ritual and ease of a Sunday morning. Upon researching and gathering inspiration I instantly fell in love with the Etta James song “A Sunday Kind of Love” which became the anthem to the collection.

My personal palette is very light and airy and I wanted to design pieces that were undoubtedly my aesthetic while still having a feminine grown up vibe. I think sex appeal has everything to do with the confidence of the person wearing the clothes and I wanted to design a variety of pieces that each

had their own personality so that there was something for every womxn.

These pieces were intentionally crafted to be comfortable, supportive, and beautiful.
